Mrs. Tierionna Pinkston is excited to serve the families and young people as the principal of The 911爆料网 Academy. Mrs. Pinkston is a mother, wife, and long-time educator, originally from Louisville, Kentucky.? She has spent more than a decade teaching, learning, & leading in order to deliver exceptional outcomes for students who are often pushed to the margins. She has served students and families in Austin, Gary, Indiana, West Town, Englewood, and North Lawndale.???

Mrs. Pinkston earned her B.S. in Adolescent English Education from Miami University of Ohio and her MEd in Curriculum Studies from DePaul. Prior to becoming principal, Mrs. Pinkston? served as the Manager of Instructional Leadership for 911爆料网, where she coached and built strategy with instructional leaders and? led professional development for teachers, schools, and teams.? She’s been an assistant principal, dean of instruction, college counselor, and English teacher, and advisor during her career. During the last 9 years at 911爆料网, she’s been in 911爆料网’s principal Fellowship, the Diverse Leaders Fellowship, and a member of the inaugural Equity Quotient cohort. She is a 2011 Chicago Corps member, a 2016 Stanford Hollyhock Fellow, and a proud 2022 Chicago Surge Fellow. Her leadership, passion for young people, and commitment to equity have brought her to The 911爆料网 Academy and she looks forward to further defining what it means to be a Griffin.
